The Peak Cellars Summer Concert Series Every Wednesday (6:00pm – 8:00pm) & Sunday (2:00pm – 4:00pm) No Ticket Required, Reservation Recommended Artist Bio: Marsha Thompson is a singer and songwriter from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Her captivating original songs transport the listener to a world of love, both held and lost, colourful British Columbia history, often with a touch of humour. Marsha’s warm alto stylings resonate as each tune tells its own story. Inspired by nature’s beauty, her poetic lyrics and personable performance style have endeared her to listeners throughout B.C. and abroad. Three studio albums, most notably Marsha’s recent release of “Wishing on Stars”, have reached a wide audience of country/folk fans. Marsha performs as a solo artist, but is often accompanied by the tasteful bass and harmonies of Ellie Young, and the rhythmic drum beat of Tyler Thompson. This trio brings music that taps the toes and relates to the soul. Bob Riley of Willie Nelson’s band, says: “Marsha Thompson is one of those rare combinations of Writer/Artist that will touch your heart with her poetic renditions and will impress even people like myself that have been around for years in the business. Her music is hard to put in a single category since it will appeal to listeners of all genres. Give a listen and you too will love her as I do.” Marsha’s music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, iTunes, YouTube, and other streaming platforms.
